We are introduced to the rich and intricate world of Daskalos, The Magus of Strovolos. In what appears at first to be an exercise in fantasy, we see Daskalos draw on seemingly unlimited mixture of esoteric teachings, psychology, reincarnation, demonology, cosmology and mysticism, from both eastern and western traditions. But Daskalos is first and foremost a healer, whose work is firmly rooted in a belief in absolute love, and whose aim is the expansion of reason and spiritual evolution.
The 2nd book of the trilogy "Homage to the Sun" continues the amazing look into the mind and world of Daskolos, an esoteric Christian mystic with extraordinary powers of healing and psychic abilities. It is a truly fascinating read that will take you beyond the mundane world and open up whole new perspectives on reality, yourself and the world in general. It is well written and balanced in its tone. It doesn't veer off into sensationalism, nor does it try to convince you of its perspective. The power is in the open, honest approach of the author in trying to understand Daskolos's world view and experience. The author really knows how to share a great story. I couldn't read it fast enough. I love these books!
The 3rd book in the trilogy, Fire in the Heart continues the author's investigation in the world of Daskalos. Of Daskalos' genuineness there can be no doubt. From an unbiased scientific standpoint; his cures of medically hopeless cases is reputably documented. One of the most spiritually inspiring (as well as alarming!) topics I found discussed in the books, among very many, is the subject of 'elementals.' It should be required reading for everyone born on this earth, to give some perspective on the hidden and unsuspected power of our thoughts and desires and emotions.
These books are non-fiction. The author documents in various place where he obtained validation of the claims for which independent evidence could reasonably be obtained. In other cases, the information is presented as understood by the author, without editorial or any agenda to impose a different framework than that being offered by the subjects of the investigation.

Yes. There are two excellent books by Daniel Joseph, entitled 'Swimming with the Whale' and 'Diving with the Whale'. In addition, Daskalos' family has published his writings and many lessons and meditations. These are available at www.stoaseries.com
